Bugün öğrendim ki: Çin şanslı bambusu Çinli değil (orta Afrika'dan) ve bambu değil (kuşkonmazla ilgili)

Species of flowering plant in the family Asparagaceae _**Dracaena sanderiana**_ is a species of [flowering plant](/wiki/Flowering_plant "Flowering plant") in the family [Asparagaceae](/wiki/Asparagaceae "Asparagaceae"), native to [Central Africa](/wiki/Central_Africa "Central Africa").[2] It was named after the German–English gardener [Henry Frederick Conrad Sander](/wiki/Henry_Frederick_Conrad_Sander "Henry Frederick Conrad Sander") (1847–1920). The plant is commonly marketed as "lucky bamboo". Common names include **Sander's dracaena** , **ribbon dracaena** , **lucky bamboo** , **curly bamboo** , **Chinese water bamboo** , **Goddess of Mercy's plant** , ** Belgian evergreen** , and **ribbon plant.**[3] Although the word _bamboo_ occurs in several of this plant's common names, _D. sanderiana_ is of an entirely different taxonomic [order](/wiki/Order_\(biology\) "Order \(biology\)") from true [bamboos](/wiki/Bambusoideae "Bambusoideae") – though it is worth noting that this plant and true bamboos both fall under the monocot [clade](/wiki/Clade "Clade"). Despite several of its common names that suggest it is from China or Belgium, it is a native African species. _Dracaena sanderiana_ is often confused with _Dracaena braunii_ , a plant from coastal West Africa with flowers 5 times shorter than those of _D. sanderiana_.[2]
