The song was originally recorded and released by [Bruce Dickinson](/wiki/Bruce_Dickinson "Bruce Dickinson") for the soundtrack to _[A Nightmare on Elm Street 5: The Dream Child](/wiki/A_Nightmare_on_Elm_Street_5:_The_Dream_Child "A Nightmare on Elm Street 5: The Dream Child")_ ,[4][5] but [Steve Harris](/wiki/Steve_Harris_\(musician\) "Steve Harris \(musician\)") liked it so Iron Maiden rerecorded it.
