Just to the south is [Waterman](/wiki/Waterman_\(crater\) "Waterman \(crater\)"), with [Neujmin](/wiki/Neujmin_\(crater\) "Neujmin \(crater\)" ) to the south-southwest. The crater protrudes into the neighboring [Fermi](/wiki/Fermi_\(crater\) "Fermi \(crater\)"), an older crater of comparable size that does not have a [lava](/wiki/Lava "Lava ")-flooded floor.
